Note from Kenneth Thomas, "One important note: while the police are notorious for minimizing the figures for those attending a demonstration, protest organizers are just as gifted in inflating those figures. The numbers listed are intended to be a happy medium. Although the police in NYC estimated the crowd at 500,000, so these estimates may be on the low side".
